Vehicle Description
1971 Lincoln Continental MKIII Coupe. Odometer shows 77266, seller has no idea of accuracy. 365 HP, 460 CID Engine, automatic transmission, Ford 9" rear end (most likely a limited slip due to 2 black marks on road). Dual exhaust with Flowmasters. Holley 750 carb, just rebuilt. New battery. New fuel pump and fuel filter. New points, condenser, spark plugs, and timing adjusted. Pertronix ignition coil. Engine runs strong.
Crager V-5 wheels, 16" X 8", 225/60-16 tires, fronts have very good tread, rears tires just OK.
Car runs and drives, not bad, but not great like a Lincoln should be. The vehicle needs more brake work, steering work, and suspension work completed!! I don't know what specifically the car needs, but I know it needs more work due to test driving.
Trunk-lid has just been replaced with rust free original. The body is a little rough with some rust issues. Several spots of surface rust with the worst rust is around the rear window and lower quarters (see pics). Windows do not go up and down. Power seats do not work.
Car has lots of potential, just needs more work than owner wants. Sold on Bill of Sale. Cash only. Make a reasonable offer.
