Used 1971 Jeepster Commando SC-1 4x4 for sale in North Aurora, IL

This Jeepster is somewhat of a time capsule. It was last tagged in 1995, was sitting in a garage until I came along and showed it the sun for the first time in 27 years. Still has the original paint which shows very well. This Commado is 100% original and unmolested. Still has a set of "Super Thing" wide trak tires on it from the seventies.
It is a very rare SC-1 model which came as a special sales order number, only in 1971. Research shows that there were less than 500 of these ordered in 1971. It has the Dauntless v6 engine with manual trans. Bucket seats. Front lock out hubs. AM radio. Gun rack and chrome roof rack. Even has the original trailer hitch which came only with the SC-1 package.
My plan was to go thru the fuel system and brakes to make a driver. I purchased a carb rebuild kit, new ignition coil, a complete tune up and a couple oil filters. But have not done any work on it yet. Price will increase if I do.
I does have some rust. The rockers should be replaced and a couple of floor pieces. All available thru "Jeepsterman"
