Used 1971 Opel GT for sale in Evansville, IN

1971 Opel GT 67,000 actual miles. New clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing just installed. Car has a manual 4 speed transmission, 1.9 litre engine. Extensively restored the past 2 years with over $8000 spent (with receipts included with the sale) on professionally installed vintage air conditioning that cools nicely, front brake calipers, stainless steel exhaust manifold and complete exhaust system, seat covers, complete dash, carpeting, water pump, tires, hella headlights, battery, rear motor mount, weber carburetor, power windows, security alarm, backup assist, vintage radio, door seals, under hood seals and much more. The deck behind the seats has been modified to include cupholders and a usb plug.
I just took a short trip in the car and it ran and drove superbly. Car is smooth and tight with almost no rattles or squeaks. It steers well, drives straight and true with no wandering or shimmying.
The underbody of the car is very solid with no rust out and no signs of previous damage or accident repairs. The upper body has some bubbles under the paint (see photos). I have found no signs of oil leaks. Everything works on the car, (the passenger power window works very slowly and sometimes needs help closing), the radio works intermittently, the headlights open and close fine and have been rewired. Included are a spare tire and tools and repair manuals. The drivers new seat cover has come unstitched (not ripped) in the front corner seam (seems to be a common problem) Priced at $10,900. Here's a chance to own a great car for only a little more than the new parts in it.
