1972 Chevelle Malibu with SS trim/vin # 1D37F2B553279 has a SBC 350 board 40 over. Aluminum Edelbrock performer heads and intake topped with a 670 Holley. Cam is a comp extreme has a mild lope. Has flat top pistons. Motor was freshened up less than 5,000 mi ago runs excellent. Has a 7 qt oil pan. Has new lifters push rods roller rockers and springs. Transmission is a TCI turbo 350 with a 9-in 3200 stall converter works excellent with the combination rather you're cruising or beating up the back roads. Transmission also has less than 5,000 mi on it. Rear end is a 12-bolt with new chromoly axles and a Eaton locker with 3.90 gear ratio. Has Mickey Thompson ET Street tires front and rear 235s on the front 275 on the rear 15 in cragar style wheels. (New) suspension is QA1 pro adjustable coilovers in the rear Bilstein shock in the front with tubular A arms. Rides very nice. Has brand new four link adjustable upper and lower control arms with tie bars and a hop knot kit. Radiator is also new aluminum full size made for a Chevelle with dual electric fans. Has new brake lines and fuel lines front to rear. Also has a new fuel tank.
Frame is in excellent shape no rust no patches no repairs. Interior is in excellent shape door panel seats carpet dash. Instrument cluster is digital Dakota with the old school look all calibrable. Heater control is original. The fan speed works and the defrost works one of the cables is froze up for the vents. Never needed it so I didn't put a cable on it. Wiring and fuse box is all upgraded with the painless wiring harnesses. Has new original style headlight switch wiper switch cigarette lighter dome light everything has been upgraded and updated. Exterior The car's paint and body work was done shortly before I bought it. Had full rear quarters put on and re-leaded. The guy that did the work was a retired body guy. He did an excellent job the paint looks great the body is straight no rust no Bondo filled rust holes. This is a good solid car that my family and I have enjoyed for years.
