Trades, I'm pretty picky and needs to be pre 72 in similar or better shape than mine. Top of the list would be a 66 or 70 Chevelle. No boats, bikes, trucks or projects.
The car is dry in the pictures as I just had washed and dried it however it still could use a good buff and wax.
Car has current Ga registration and insurance in my name. No title as Ga will not issue on pre 86 and only offers registration which I have. If out of state you will need to check with your DmV but most recognize a Ga registration to transfer ownership.
1972 Chevy Chevelle SS clone. Was a 350 2bbl orig. This car underwent a frame off restoration around 2000 and the owner passed away before finishing so it sat up until a year or so ago. Paint was nice at the time but has some buffed through spots, an area where it was knocked off and some dings and such from kids bicycles so I'm calling it a good 20 footer. Still very presentable for a driver or cruise in car.
The relative that I got it from did not have much information on it so there are a lot of unknowns but a ton of money was spent on this car back in 2000.
We believe the engine to be a 355 [ may be a 383] with a Tuned Port Injection set up on it, mild cam and headers. Engine sounds great, pulls hard and has good oil pressure. Has new injectors. Transmission was also fresh in 2000 and is a 700R4 with a small converter [ feels like 2500-2800 maybe] Rear end is a 12 bolt positraction and guessing from how hard the car pulls 3.55 or 3.73.
Tires and wheels are less than a year old, 15x8 Americans with a Mickey Thompson street tire on the back. Front disc calipers, hoses, master cylinder and booster all less than a year old as the brakes had been stuck from sitting. Rear has drums and the car stops well.
The body looks to have been super solid before the car was painted as do the trunk and floors. The whole bottom side of the car iwas painted gloss black. Bumpers, trim, etc were all new in 2000 and the car had been garaged since.
The interior was never finished so it needs door panels front and back, headliner, rear seat recovered and another dash pad [ if you want them black] I have put new carpet, dynamat, rear package tray and a new complete dash housing in it. Has working Dakota Digital SS style dash. It had a fresh set of orange/white leather Corbeau racing seats that match the rear if you would prefer them over the factory buckets.
When I got the car it only had 9 miles on it and now only has 11 so it has not been road sorted yet other than driving it in my neighborhood. It is scheduled to go for an alignment and check over this week and then I will start driving it more and see what bugs need to be worked out but price is subject to go up.
Update: It has been aligned and serviced and driven a few more short runs so it has 19 miles on it now. Drives real nice and so far just a couple of very minor bugs.
I am pretty firm as you could not build the car for that or find such a solid car to start with that hasnt been all patched up. Not to mention what others are asking for builders and junk.
No joyrides and prefer if serious you come look at the car in person with funds in hand.
