Vehicle Description
Sale is pending
Chevy C-20 2wd truck from an estate. Similar to a C10 but with more load capacity. Last registered in 2002. Has 250 inline six with electronic ignition. Runs when using a gas can for a supply. Has 30 psi oil pressure at idle. Cylinder #5 makes 80 psi, #6 makes 110 psi and 1-4 are 130 psi. Odometer shows 77xxx. Probably been around once. Radiator is a 4 core from a V8/automatic truck.
4 speed on the floor with creeper first gear. Clutch and transmission work well. Has power brakes. Discs in the front, drums in the rear. Master cylinder has fluid but the pedal goes to the floor. Seems to drive fine but did not try on the road for lack of brakes. Frame is solid.
Body is average for a northern truck. Paint is faded - looks like it was an emerald green from how the dash appears. If you want it perfect it will need both fenders, both doors, both rockers, one cab corner and the drivers floor pan. Box is in better shape but does have some rust in the lower regions. Bed interior is decent since it had a plastic bed liner. Tailgate is in poor shape.
Interior needs a good cleaning. Seat should be recovered. Windshield is cracked. Door handles and window cranks are broken. Drivers door does not latch and the passenger door does not unlatch.
Truck is not a disaster but I am trying to present it with the obvious flaws it has. It is a sound starting point for a project or put the basic repairs it needs and make a driver out of an old truck.
Clear title goes with. Call, text or email. I don’t reply if messages seem to be spam. Try again if you have no response. If the posting is showing the truck is for sale.
