Extremely nice ‘72 Chevy long box Fleetside. 350 cu in, automatic, ps, pb, ac, tilt, cruise. The Highlander package was only offered in ‘72 and it was a promotional offering with 3 levels of options at a discount price. This truck is an Option C Highlander making it the highest optioned version. 46,000 original miles, 1 exterior repaint in 2005. At that same time the engine and transmission were gone over.
It is one of the nicest, most original Highlanders in existence. You wont find Chinese after market parts on this truck.
It carries its original spare tire in unused condition in the original hanger. The carpet was replaced at some point, and I had the plaid cloth replaced on the seat with correct material. The vinyl on the seat is original. You wont find speaker holes in the doors, modern stereo, incorrect steering wheel or engine modifications on this truck. It has rally wheels on it now but I have the original Highlander specific wheel covers. It is as original as they come. Drive it anywhere, use it for towing your vintage travel trailer, cruise ins, or win trophies everywhere. It has a clamp on tonneau cover (no holes drilled) and bed rug. This truck has been traced to its 2nd owner who knew the original owner and it spent most of its life in Arkansas. It really is a “must see to appreciate “ truck.
