Vehicle Description
Super little British roadster for sale. Like all cars its age, it needs a little bit of TLC, but the major work has been done and this is a great little car. Recently completed work includes:
Completely rebuilt head with new valves, springs, guides and seals
Rebuilt carburetors
New battery
New tune-up including spark plugs, plug wires, points, condenser, rotor bug and distributor cap
New heater valve
Stripped entire body to bare metal, repaired one small rusty spot with new sheet metal, sprayed with etching primer, sealer, base coat and clear coat
New trunk liner, carpet and weatherstrip
New window regulators and window seals
New hood release cable
This car runs well and drives strong. It has good compression in all cylinders, excellent oil pressure, doesn't overheat, doesn't smoke. The steering is tight, the brakes are solid, the suspension is good, the lights, wiper, horn and gauges work except for the ammeter. The original wheels and red-sidewall tires are in excellent condition and have many thousands of miles remaining. The odometer reads 56,956 and appears to be correct. The top is like new, and the interior is in very good condition. If you want a show-quality car, this would be a good starting point, or as-is it will make a sharp and solid regular driver.
