Vehicle Description
I found this old Mercedes-Benz 450 SL (Sport Leicht) model R107 in a barn last summer and brought it to fair, ready-to-cruise, daily driver condition. I've recently driven this car on a thousand-mile road trip down the coast without issue. This "Beach Bum" Benz gets lots of smiles. This is an electronic fuel injected, smog exempt, convertible. It also includes a matching removable hard-top. This car was purchased new in San Diego and has spent it's entire life in California. The car was in a front end collision at some point and was professionally repaired and repainted (it needs paint again). I'm happy to share everything I've done to it along with everything left to do with interested parties. This two-tone grey and "China blue" 450 is still a bit of a project and I don't have a place to work on it. I've spent thousands on it and I'm ready to pass it to the next person.
