Vehicle Description
Hi,
I just lowered to price. That price is for cash. For trades, I'll need something really worth that much or higher.
I'm putting this up for sale because I'm running out of money.I'm hoping you'll see what an amazing car this is, and want to finish it.
The body is just about rust-free, very solid. Needs some body work and paint. A new rear bumper would be great too.
It has a new "Blueprint Engines" 408 Stroker Crate motor in it. I spent a year trying to find all the parts and brackets needed to get this all together. This is new. I'm just now starting to break the Motor in. It still has the Break-in Oil in it. 15 miles on all this new stuff. I don't know the actual miles on this Vehicle.
New or rebuilt 4-speed transmission. New Mcleod Clutch. New Z-bar etc.
New U-joints. Rebuilt Pumpkin, with new Dutchman axle.
Pistol-grip Shifter.
Tubular A-frame Rack and pinion front end.MUCH lighter than the old Torsion Bar suspension. This still needs some dialing in, but works well. Handles well. (Update: I've re-done this front suspension!)
New Calipers and pads on the front Disk Brakes, new pads in the back. new Brake lines. New Master Brake Cylinder.
New,(but sitting inside for a couple of years), Cooper Cobra Tires. These are mounted on 15" "Dukes of Hazzard" type rims.
Replaced the old Seats with some from a Dodge NEON.much safer, and was able to replace the old seatbelts with better ones.
I found a bitch'n Orange "340" Air cleaner.it has the hidden air-port in the back.
I bought a pricey leather-wrapped "TUFF" style Steering wheel. I haven't put it on yet.
New Gas Tank, sending units, Fuel lines, etc. (I'm about to either rebuild the Carb, or put a new one it.)
Rear Suspension is new. MOPAR Performance Heavy-Duty Leaf Springs, New shock plates,(non-rubberized), KYB Shocks, U-bolts, etc.
There a LOT more smaller stuff, but you get the picture.
It's registered in my name.and drivable on the road.
No Joy rides, burn-outs, racing, until YOU own it! Careful, this car will probably hit 150 MPH, or more.
Oh.-it's freakin' LOUD and PROUD.
I'm in Rio Vista, CA
I'm asking for 22,000, but Cash talks loudly. Maybe an amazingly good trade.it can't hurt to ask, right? (Note: I lowered the price for a quick cash sale to 17,000.)
Thanks so much, God bless,
Mark
