Vehicle Description
Stunning 1973 Triumph TR 6 in candy apple red with rare triple Weber carburetors paired with ANSA exhaust and headers. This setup creates additional horsepower, acceleration, and results in a deep, throaty growl. Previous owner reported the car had been fully restored when they bought it 6 years ago. Always garage kept, no rust and regularly maintained by a Triumph specialist. Southern car has lived in rust free Georgia/central florida. Engine starts right away, runs very smooth and has great oil pressure. Gears shift smoothly with no sign of wear. Previous owner reports that during their 6 years of ownership the car has received the following:
Overhaul and balancing of the Weber carburetors
Engine overhaul including new rocker shaft, valves, gaskets etc.
Starter rebuilt
New fuel pump and fuel lines
New throttle bracket and linkage
New wiring harness
New tires
During my ownership, the car has received:
Spin on oil filter adapter conversion - allows for easy, low mess oil changes
New master and slave clutch cylinder
Bluetooth stereo with built in speakers
Interior LED lights
Replaced various seals and weather strippings
Replaced sway bar linkage
Some minor imperfections:
The voltmeter is not working. I have installed a digital voltmeter into the cigarette lighter port to display voltage. The voltmeter has built in usb charging ports as well. The tachometer is frozen; the needle seems to want to move but won’t. You can see this in the video. I know these tachs can be rebuilt for a couple hundred bucks. There are some small paint bubbles on the right rear quarter of the car, no rust though. Other minor imperfections in the paint, but overall very nice.
Comes with car cover and a binder full of service records.
