1973 VW "Thing"
Right Hand Drive
Runs and drives pretty well, rides decent for being lowered
It has New inner and outter rear wheel bearing on both sides, new lowered shocks and lowered balljoints up front, new torsion leaves in the adjustable beam, new shifter, new front brake shoes
Engine is a 1641 with
NEW progressive carb, manifold and end castings, new distributor, new coil, new plugs & wires, just did the valves, set the timing, newish battery, pedal assembly and throttle linkage were reworked,
About 60% of the body/rust repair has been done, fixed the pan issues.
Were told they were flat pans, they werent 🙄
Cleaned up the seats some, theyre not bad, just not great either, no rips
tops good just needs rear window, was gonna heat seal a piece of plastic in there, or replace the top, price goes up 1k if i do.
