Vehicle Description
1973 VW Baja Bug (pre-smog) 1600 engine fresh rebuild from Mesa West ($3K)- new crank, new starter, new flywheel, new clutch, new EMPI carb, etc etc. Mesa also did a complete brake job with new shoes, lines, master cyl, wheel cyl, e-brake, etc etc. Bus transmission. All new wiring and everything works - LED lights, Off Road Hi Beam, turn signals front and rear, even has the lic plate light. Tri Mil exhaust with a Stinger and I also have a muffler set up for around town. Fresh battery, new seat belts, adjustable seats. Almost no rust (a few pinholes in the pass floor) pillars are solid never been abused or reconstructed. New door and window seals and new windshield. New Windshield wipers work great. Fresh Hot Rod Flats 'sand' satin finish paint, no dents. This Baja is as solid as you will find for stock style. Everything is done and its ready to run around in, I need the space for the Can Am Maverick I bought.
