Vehicle Description
For sale is a 1974 Dodge Challenger project car. Originally a green car / white interior / 318 single barrel / 904 auto / 8-3/4 rear, disc brakes & front sway bar. The car is virtually completely disassembled right now with the exeception of the suspension loosely put back on the car to make it a roller. The shell of the car was sandblasted, quarters repaired/replace about 10 years ago, rear passenger frame rail replaced and engine bay cleaned up and most of it was body worked, front halfβs of the floors were done as well, rear floors & trunk are ok. Inner fender wells are new/solid not but could used some finish work if you care what they look like inside the trunk. Overall the shell just needs light finish metal work in some areas but is very solid and almost done. Good platform to build off, just some light surface rust in some areas through the primer from sitting, easy clean up. Front fenders havent been touched, mostly solid but will need patches. Original doors are included but will need a lot of work to salvage. Solid original hood and ehh trunk lid. Car comes with some fiberglass doors and a fiberglass six pack hood if you want to build a drag car... not street stuff. Most of the major parts for the car are there but is missing a lot of hardware, interior panels, drivetrain and all the glass except drivers door and the rear quarters glass. Most of the trim is there and in polishable shape. I just layed out all the parts and are there for viewing if someone comes to see the car soon. Most of the parts will need to be lightly sandblasted but will clean up well and be usable. All the parts go with the car, no picking through it.
I have a nice 440 and 727 torqueflight meant for the car that are already built but have just been sitting that i will sell separately for an additional 2500$. They would just need a quick once over before install. Motor is a HP block with forged crank, rods, hypereutectic pistons, lunati cam, ported heads that had a full rebuild before being installed including valve seats, edelbrock rpm intake and MSD billet distributor. Awesome motor. 727 is in very good shape with stall, was supposedly rebuilt but I donβt know much about it.
Will be posting pics of the car & parts asap... I used to have most of the build sheet and the fender tag, i will be working to find them in the mean time.
