Used 1974 VW Thing for sale in Cumming, GA

This 45 year old car was purchased by a local business for promo videos in 2011 for $10k. It traveled to Kid Camps for video/photo opportunities. The Previous Owner chromed the engine. It has been resprayed in the original orange color, 8 out of 10. Interior has been reupholstered as well, front and back. It sat in my basement for 6 yrs and I’ve recently prepped it for resale. I had Tim’s VW of Austell, GA address the brakes. New master cylinder and 4 new cylinders at each corner. New brake shoes and drums turned. Valves recently adjusted and carburetor tuned by Tim as well. Black top is new. Windows need attention as they are discolored. New pressure plate and clutch have been installed. Shifts smooth. Battery also new. All electricals work, as well as the emergency brake. Cylinder compression check indicates 114, 120, 95, 115. Not a frame off resto, but not priced like one. Car displays well and brings smiles wherever it goes. Fresh oil change and auxiliary filter. US only got these in 1973,74. Most are rusty or restored and demanding $18k +.
