Used 1975 FJ40 with Snow Plow! for sale in Dryden, NV

Up for sale is our beloved 1975 FJ40 Land Cruiser. It has an original Toyota Inline 6 engine professionally replaced in 2004 by previous owner along with adding a new radiator. There is a 4 speed manual transmission on the floor. It has a removeable Hard Top and comes with a Bikini Soft Top. Four-wheel Willwood disc brakes were professionally installed in 2013. Very strong engine, clutch, transmission and four-wheel drive system!

Unknown TOTAL mileage since the previous owner did not have a working odometer. I fixed the odometer when I got it and have only put on 5,500 miles in eleven years. This truck has only been used for local driving and plowing the road and sites of a small two acre RV Park. It has not been off-road or abused on the trail. It will do 60 MPH on the highway but the traditional loose steering requires you to be attentive while you drive.

Seven foot Meyers E47 hydraulic Snow Plow with Slick Stick controls located on the manual transmission for easy plowing while driving. It is really amazing how well this vehicle plows snow! With the short wheelbase, great visibility and torquey engine, it is easy to maneuver around and between obstacles. Two new hydraulic ram arms installed in 2016 for moving the plow left and right. New plow pump in 2017 which powers all of the up and down and left & right hydraulics. Plow blade is steel and was repainted in the fall of 2019.

Maybe the best news; the snow plow is completely removeable and returns the look of the truck to 98% original. Just two 2 inch square holes in the front bumper, two square 2 inch mounts behind the front bumper and two vertical plates on the frame below each passenger for the long snow plow braces to mount. This is a very sturdy design for plowing and all professionally done! There is NO damage to this vehicle from plowing. It has all been built correctly and is well thought out.

Painted inside and out with Toyota’s "Sun Fusion" (5A3 color). This is one of the FJ Cruiser colors from 2006 to 2010. The small parts are painted Toyota Gray Metallic.

Pioneer DEH-X6800BT AM/FM/CD/USB with two pioneer speakers has been installed. There are two additional concealed speaker wires already installed going from the CD player to the underneath side of the roll bar for future speakers.

There are Black aluminum Serengeti Door panels on each of the passenger doors. There is a full head liner inside the roof installed in 2011. There are no rear seats! I have a spare tire carrier also painted Sun Fusion but it is not mounted on the truck. The interior floor photo of the truck bed has small black circles all over it. This is from the black nubs on the thick rubber mat that fits over the entire bed of the Land Cruiser to protect it.

Installed in the Spring of 2019 is a new Odyssey Extreme 34-1500 Battery. This is a maintenance free battery with 850 CCA and 1500 Cranking Amps for 5 seconds! New Alternator Spring of 2019. The old original alternator provided 45 Amps with the new Alternator cranking out 55 Amps!

There is a SECOND SET of Wheels with Studded Snow Tires that come with the truck. The Wildcat EXT 31X10.50R15LT have deep tread and offer great traction. I have never needed snow chains. Just switch the wheel sets out when it is legal to do so. Summer wheels and tires are Kumho Venture MT 31X11.50R15LT.

I live in Leavenworth, a small resort town in the Washington mountains. This is my daily driver in which I drive just a few miles each day. This FJ40 is ready to go for work or play; snowplowing, construction, hunting, camping and family fun.
