Vehicle Description
Recently got a Thing again and I've been enjoying it more than the bug lately so I'm putting this up for sale here right now. After the holidays I'll list it elsewhere. Here's what I remember but if you search my name in the Super Beetles Only forum on facebook you can find out a lot:
1975 with rack and pinion, fuel injection and the sun roof. I've enjoyed it for about five years now, most of which the speedometer didn't work so who knows how many miles are on it. Since I've had it I have gotten the fuel injection working good, installed topline struts, 944 brakes in the rear and cbperformance in the front, bmw leather seats, strut brace and gotten the sun roof to work with assistance but still not perfect. Wheels are OEM Porsche cup,16x6 in front and 16x8 in back with new tires (2k miles?) I've only ran ethanol free fuel in it and it runs great. Texas title with my name on it.
The 1975 Super Beetle is pretty unique as far as super beetles go. 1975 was the last year for the hardtop super beetle. They only came in three colors. 1975 had fuel injection, rack and pinion steering, and the sunroof. Just over 13k were produced. The 75s haven't quite caught on in the USA, but they're pretty popular elsewhere so eventually they'll catch on here.
Questions or concerns message me. Negative comments will be ignored by me and hopefully others.

Only trades are for interesting classic cars big enough to carry a family of five in.
