Vehicle Description
1976 Chevrolet Camaro Type LT
California car, this car probably 90% rust free and still has all of its original panels, floor, and trunk, etc. I purchased this car as a driving project in December of 2021 in Azusa California and believe it has resided in Southern California it’s whole life. The previous owner has had the car since 1988.
Since December of 2021 it has undergone a full “driver quality” restoration.
This car started life as a anemic 305 140hp California smog car that would have been driven by a secretary. It ran and drove and I personally drove the car from Azusa to Diamond Bar, California, under its own power.
Engine is now a 383 stroker
010 block
Eagle balanced stroker assembly 9.6:1 compression
vortec heads with ls6 valve springs
aluminum dual plane intake
holley 600cfm carb
mid length stainless steel headers
224/224@0.050 0.465 lift 114lsa camshaft
New water pump, hoses, etc
Turbo 350 transmission
2800rpm stall converter
3.42 posi rear axle
All new springs front and rear, shocks all round, ball joints, tie rods and poly bushings
Quick ratio steering box with new lines
Front drilled slotted rotors with power stop carbon ceramic pads
New tires 235/60R15 front and 255/60R15 rear on z28 wheels
New OER dash pad
Original upholstery and carpet
New stereo and speakers
New paint in the factory color code with metallic grey z28 style stripes added
New 2.25” dual exhaust with turbo mufflers
2010 Camaro center console
Fixed mechanical fan was upgraded to a thermal clutch operated unit for less power loss
The factory heavy duty optional radiator was retained and cleaned and pressure tested
New heater core and blower motor
If you have tiktok you can see more of the build under my username Jalopyjordan
I hate to sell it but I have two other project cars and a boat I’m working on so something has to go.
Clean and clear title in hand. More photos of entire restoration and anything else you want to see upon request.
Asking $24,995/obo
