Used 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 for sale in Brooklyn, NY

This is a US spec FJ40 that spent its life in Colorado prior to coming East in early 2019. It is a "high altitude" emissions designation which was unique to 40's manufactured in 1977 sold in locales over 4000 ft. All emissions equipment is intact and functional.

I bought the truck in April '19 and have driven it more or less daily, adding approximately 2500 miles while making various improvements. It has been exceptionally reliable in both city and highway driving. Selling because I don't intend to expose it to road salt, and am not thrilled at the prospect of keeping it indoors all winter.

I've got over $13,000 in receipts for parts (mostly OEM) and labor since I've owned it, as well as records indicating an overhaul of the 2F engine in 1996 approximately 20k miles ago in Colorado Springs, CO. The odometers on these roll over at 100k, so true milage is unknown although the currently indicated 34700k is likely 134700k. Original sheet metal, matching engine and frame numbers, original paint code (416 dune beige). Rust is very minimal, frame is excellent.

All lights and accessories function as intended. Heat is excellent.
There is an intermittent tick/clack at idle, the source of which I nor my mechanic have been able to determine. It has been present as long as I've owned the 40, and has not increased in intensity or changed in character. At higher RPM's/ speed, it is inaudible. Inspection of the valve train, pushrods, cam lobes, crankshaft and connecting rods does not indicate that any of these are the source. No metal particles in old oil or the pan, and pressure is solid. Top end is oiling as it should. I'd be confident driving it anywhere.
The carburetor could probably benefit from a rebuild or at least a proper tune, although it runs just fine as is. Idles around 750, which is a touch high, but I haven't been inclined to mess with it.
