I haven't done all the math, but the cost of all this work in time and replacement parts was well in excess of $15000 and that was before the last 2 grand I just spent on the front end as listed above.
The "Bad"
This list is mostly external and/or non-essential for enjoyment of the motorhome.
* Could use new pin stripes and side body molding to really make it sharp
* Door got banged a little bit when previous owner was backing out of some mud and it was left open (this was before the entire revamp of the coach, but you may want to do a some body work on the door to get it 100% as there is a small piece of fiberglass approximately 2"x4"that got chipped off on the door exterior, it still opens and closes fine)
*The rear bumpers need to be re-chromed, drivers side got a slightly bent up when being taken off the trailer it was shipped on from Texas. A good rechromer will fix this for you and repair any imperfections before they rechrome it anyway. If you are in PA, I recommend They did an excellent job on a rear bumper of a 58 Caddilac I had owned a few years ago, and they even gave my wife and I a brief tour.
* Dash Air needs a new or replacement compressor current not working.
* The fabric strap for the small awning has unraveled the thread holding the loop together thats used to secure it to the anchor on the side of the coach, this can be resewed with some nice strong thread and a good needle. Both of which are in a drawer in the coach, I just never got to doing it.
