Used 1978 Jeep CJ-5 (Wrangler) - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... for sale in Otisville, NY

For sale is a very unique vintage 1978 Jeep Cj-5 (CJ5) (Wrangler body), with an original Jeep I6 engine - one of the best Jeep has ever made - with only 5009 original miles. Why so low, you ask? Well, before I owned it, it was only used as a lot vehicle for an RV dealership pulling trailers around the lot. Now the body does have a fair deal of rust which you can see in the photos, but the struts and frame are very sound and the engine itself if in great condition. This would make a great restoration project. Comes with a Meyers hard top and optional plow kit (you can take or leave the plow as you like). It does run and drive but has trouble starting after sitting for a while (Simply because the battery is old and needs to be replaced). But the started is brand new having recently been replaced by me. Other than that the engine is all original. It’s primer grey right now because I was going to restore it. The interior is a cool red with unique running board trim. This car is very unique and could become great in the right hands. $2000 OBO.
