Believed to be 1 of the 40 SLC 5.0's imported to the US. This is an early serial number car and is present on the 5.0 registry and still in the original owners possession. These cars are a hidden gem in the vintage Mercedes line up.
Mercedes homologated these cars for rally purposes and they were built to compete, with chassis upgrades, an all new aluminum 5.0 V8 and a limited slip diff.
This car offers tons of power, a great look, and a solid investment. Recent service completed along with new front seat covers and a fresh detail. Drivers condition throughout. Couple of small ding and scratches on the exterior and some worn areas inside including a couple small dash cracks.
