Vehicle Description
NOTE: I have lowered the price since I want to sell the car before the rainy season sets in... I don't have a garage space for it anymore and hate to see it get weathered.
For sale is my 1979 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT. This one has the 2000cc 4 cylinder all aluminum engine. it has the Spica fuel injection. Here is the information I have/know about the car:
This is a WA car and has been maintained locally - with nearly all service records with the car throughout its Seattle history since it was purchased at Grand Prix Imports back in the day. Original owners manual and the service warranty book showing early stamps from Grand Prix Imports.
The car starts, idles and revs nicely, it drives and stops very well. It shifts through all the gears with no grinds or sounds at all. This transmission if fitted with Shankle Sure Shift setup.
Body: It is as rust free as it gets for an Alfa. under the chassis it is clean and no signs of rust at all. The only areas are a hole in the spare tire well, a 2-inch spot in the engine bay (a couple of bubbles) and some surface and pitting where the tail lights mount. I have taken pictures of all areas. At some point, an angry better half keyed the car on every single panel. So, a paint job is needed.
Brakes and Tires: Front tires are new, but rear ones are old. New brake master cylinder and new clutch master cylinder as well. New front wheel bearings, new brake lines, fully rebuilt calipers and new pads. Rear brakes work fine.
Engine: Fully rebuilt in 2007 at Group 2 Motorsports in Seattle to the tune of $4,342.64. Spica fuel injection rebuilt by Ingram Enterprises in 2012. Engine runs nicely, no smoke, no noises. I have the original airbox and also an aftermarket free flowing system.
I have all a good collection of receipts for work done by me and previous owners as well as a Wes Ingram Spica fuel injection manual.
The car has aftermarket exhaust and Bilstein shocks.
Spares: I have a crack free dashboard, another set of gauges, rust free doors (complete), complete rear hatch, Euro rear bumper, headliner hood, grills, rear side vents (normal and GTV versions), two driveshafts, rear hatch light cover unit, many interior panels in good condition, grills, tail lights, etc. Many spare parts.
The car has a clean title. This is an all or nothing deal. I don't have time to work on this car and that is the only reason for selling. I will not part out.
