Vehicle Description
This just may be someone's lucky day and my loss. This car is definitely dirty and has been sitting. I got this car in 2006 from my dad who if not mistaken was the second owner after the original owner traded it in on a brand new vette. The entire car was original! My plan was to put a little bit of a top end kit on it to make it a little faster until a hole in the oil filter ran me dry and I blew the block. Which brings us to now. The car engine is a 383 stroker crate engine courtesy of Bill Spells in Valdosta GA with probably less than 500 miles on it. The car itself is still under 100,000 original miles as far as we know. Brand new air conditioner with electric dual fan courtesy of Running Great in Tampa FL. New brakes from the master cylinder down, new suspension, rebuilt tranny with upgraded fly wheel. Allens chamberless exhaust with nice headers. New radiator and many other pieces that I know I'm forgetting. Interior is gutted as you can see from the pic. My plan was to convert the red interior to black and I have nearly all the interior pieces (NEW) in black to go with the car. I bought the black spray dye to do the door covers and dash etc. I have new black seat belts, steering wheel, even a new stereo with new speakers. It just never has made it together and as much as I have hoped the time would come to be able to do all this, its still sitting in my garage and its time to GO, not only to clear room in my garage but I feel bad every time I look at it knowing that its so close to really being amazing. The body is solid, but def could use a paint job. Part of my problem over the years is I'm such a perfectionist that if it can't be perfect I just seem to put it off. So other than the interior the problem I am facing is with idling. I put this bigger summit brand carb knock off of a holly on it which seemed to make a great improvement but after getting the A/C they weren't able to adjust it well enough for the perfect set. It needs a carb that can be set and adjust to the cars demands. I'm leaking gas around the connectors to the carb which I kind of assumed would happen after it has been sitting for a couple years again. New battery and I started it today.
