There’s probably a few other things I forgot
This van was a one owner time capsule bought at a estate auction. According to the previous owners son, it was used once a year to haul his family up to his cabin in Minnesota. Has been garage kept for 39 years and is immaculate inside and out. The paint still looks like it rolled out of the factory a week ago and the inside smells exactly like the 80s. Based on the condition of everything else at the sale and this vehicle, the PO was a maintenance freak. The engine was also supposedly bored out when new, however I haven’t confirmed this.
The original plan was to give the engine a tune up and carb work and us it as a road tripper, however a new vehicle has been purchased which means one had to go, she isn’t making the cut. She runs and drives when it doesn’t flood but there is a flooding issue, once you get her to fire she runs rich. The metering block on the carb was changed out when the fuel pump was installed, a fuel regulator needs to be installed most likely. The air compressor doesn’t seem to be building pressure. There are a few electrical gremlins I started tracking down but a few I haven’t solved yet, the two I know of are the after market lights and blinkers. Outside of a few minor maintenance tasks this thing perfect.
Feel free to ask questions as I know I didn’t get everything on here. Title in hand. Call or text @ 402 nine three seven 6688. Delivery can be arranged just about anywhere in the country for a fee based on total distance
