Vehicle Description
FOR SALE: 1979 MGB Roadster. The car has 70,000 original miles. It runs well and drives smoothly. This is an original, basic car, no major upgrades except that it has a relatively new (still looks brand new) tan canvas Tonneau, valued at ~$500. The original vinyl soft top was no longer serviceable so it was removed but the frame and all hardware were retained for you to install a new soft top. The body is sound and straight, just a couple of minor dents to the hood which can easily be repaired (seen in pictures). Car was recently smogged and passed with flying colors. Registration is up to date. Asking $4,800. Cash only. Phone calls ok, no text messages.
In the last 6 months the following work has been done:
-new tires
-new radiator, water pump, cooling hoses, clamps, thermostat, cooling fan switch (etc), coolant
-new alternator belt
-new battery
-new spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor
-new clutch hydraulics (master cylinder, slave cylinder, flex line) and bled system
-new brake master cylinder and bled brake system
-oil change, with oil filter
In the last 6 months the following work has been done:
