Vehicle Description
We are third family of owners of this all-original, ’79 MGB Roadster MKIII in wonderful condition with only 22,770 miles. This is not a rebuilt or reconditioned car – it is all original inside and out (with the exception of an extensive list of brand-new parts installed in the last 12-months).
Vast majority of the car’s life was spent covered and/or indoors in dry parts of the country. The “Inca Yellow” paint, original to the car, is very clean, crisp, shiny. Black plastic on exterior is clean and dark. Interior is also all original with the custom, upgraded “plaid” seats (an upgrade purchased by original owner when car was ordered at the dealership).
We have almost all records for the car. We have all but ~2-years of ownership history documented including the original sale documents. We have much of the service history for the car. It was most recently owned by an MGB enthusiast that took great care of the car, sparing no expense to make it run like a top. Since December 2021, the car had two tune-ups at Atwood European in Phoenix, AZ:
• Installed Weber Carburetor Kit with Electric Choke
• Replaced cylinder head gasket
• Replaced brake master cylinder with new unit
• Replaced brake hoses
• Replaced both rear wheel cylinders and cleaned shoes
• Replaced main systems battery
• Replaced fuel pump
• Replaced fuel level sender
• Replaced both side cover gaskets
• Replaced oil pan gasket and oil filter housing seals
• Replaced transmission mounts
• Disassembled, cleaned, and replaced front suspension lower control arm, sway bar, and subframe bushings
• Engine valve adjustments (tuned to perfection)
• Replaced glove box latch
• Replaced antenna assembly
• Replaced axle straps
• New wiper blades
• Oil change at 22,524
Serious inquiries only. Please include a phone number in your inquiry.
