Vehicle Description
1979 Pontiac Catalina
You don't see these too often in any shape! Almost completely original, down to the AM radio. We bought it from a lady in the Carolinas in 2006.
We've driven it dependently for over 15 years as the second owners. 106K original miles, just broke 100K last year. We have done many little repairs, up-keeping and maintenance over the years for our Catalina, and virtually all the work at Bucaro Brothers on Ashland, and we have an easy to share list by pdf for any serious buyers of all the work done so far.
Engine is strong. Pretty new starter, around 2019. Tires are fine, but might needing changing next couple years. The body does need some work, depending on how you want it to look. It has some rust, a dent in the front left, a dent in the back bumper, various, many scratches to the paint job, and some dinges and all that. Also the side stripe detailing needs some attention, or simply remove them for a cleaner look. Inside is good/great condition, with a couple small little things to improve or clean. For the age, in great shape, and very comfortable to drive in or just sit back in. The suspension along with the furnishings make for the most pleasant ride everytime.
Check out the photos, happy to send more just email me if interested. Happy to jump on a phone call to discuss and answer. Come check it out, it is a very charming car!
