Vehicle Description
1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 6.6 10th Anniversary Tribute
So you know it's a real Trans Am here is the VIN# 2W87K9L205- Built in Van Nuys
10th Anniversary Tribute in my name and current tags.
Odometer reads 22,456 miles and is said to be original miles on paperwork but I have some doubts.
Healthy 6.6 403 small block, 350 automatic, 4 wheel disc breaks, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt, cruise control, power windows, power locks, and t-tops. It is the original desired 403 Oldsmobile motor.
When I got the car it needed some work. I have fixed most of the known mechanicals. Here is what I've done over the last few months. All work done at shops with receipts. Only 25 miles on all these parts. All these parts are new or rebuilt. Rebuilt original transmission, stall converter, starter, cables, alternator, valve cover gaskets, rebuilt carburetor, fuel filter, oil change, oil filter, spark plugs, tie rod ends, wheel alignment, Vision Torque 15x7 Wheels, Cooper Cobra tires, and lug nuts. New parts not yet installed are dome light, blinker/cruise control indicator, 2 window motors, window switches, and rear seat belts. A NEW Complete Graphic Set is included with the larger 10th anniversary bird for the hood that was 800 bucks.
The body is really nice with no rust and only a couple small driver side door dings. Paint is fading on top surfaces. T-tops are in great condition as is all glass. Interior is pretty good but still needs driver side seat base, stereo, and a couple trim parts on dash and headliner trim. The car is currently registered. Will NOT currently pass California smog. But I do know a place that can. There is no leaks and does not smoke out exhaust. This car is running and drivable. I'm only asking 15,000 OBO. Cash or Trade but trade will have to benefit me. My name is Don and you can call or text. 562-682-338zero
