Vehicle Description
Bought this 1979 Triumph Spitfire a few months back but now I have to move due to work. It’s a great car if you’re looking for an easy project or a way to make some quick money because parts are so cheap and easy to get.
It’s a 4 cylinder British sports car that are getting more and more popular here in the US. I have everything needed to get it back on the road but now I don’t have the time to make it happen.
The floor board on the drivers side was rusted out so I cut it out and stripped out all the interior. The new floor board needs to be welded in, the carb needs to be rebuilt and then some seats need to be found and it will be ready to hit the road. I put in a brand new gas tank and bought several extras that I will list below.
It has a clean title and collector plates so no need to buy tabs anymore.
I can tow within a reasonable distance for $100 (the price of the trailer from Uhaul) if it is purchased before Tuesday, otherwise it will have to be picked up or towed by me in a couple weeks.
It turns over great but because the carb is leaking due to bad gaskets it won’t run constantly.
Includes:
-New carb gasket kit
-New master and slave cylinder kit
-New black carpet kit
-Custom floor panel for the one that I cut out
-New and installed distributor and plugs
-Hard Top
-Soft Top
-Spare tire
-Jacks
-Rolling Shop Stool
Let me know if you’d like to know anything else, I’d be happy to answer any questions. Sad I have to give it up but I know someone else will be able to make her pretty again. Price is negotiable, but I can’t lose too much on it.
Email works best to communicate until I know you’re serious about taking a look.
Thanks!
