Vehicle Description
1980 Jeep CJ-7 “pickup” with automatic transmission, a hardtop, inline 6 motor, updated stereo and lots of recent work done to include brakes, tires, finding the electrical gremlins and regular maintenance, (did I mention the nicely upgraded stereo).
This Jeep is pretty awesome, from its custom “patina” paint job to the pickup bed having a tailgate and being fully bedlined, this little guy is perfect for a run to the hardware store or some fun off road action.
It’s been well cared for and it shows. The frame is solid, the body is solid, and you don’t see many like this one out in the wild.
Yes, it does have some quirks. The fuel gauge sometimes works, “Drive” is actually one past the “D” on the gear indicator, it certainly drives like a 1980 Jeep, but if you know them and love them, this is a rare find.
A friend asked me to sell this for him, so I will happily answer what I can but I may not have all the answers.
No, I don’t need help selling it, I won’t deal with scammers (that includes the “can I send you a number” and “I’m busy and out of town, can I send a cashier’s check” scams), and you can’t have your buddy come test drive it because you’re deployed in the military. First person with cash in hand gets the prize.
Title in-hand, come check it out.
