Listing my 1980 CJ7 because I bought a TJ unlimited and dont really need this one.
I have done a whole lot to this jeep's drivetrain.
The body is in good condition with no major rust. It has fantastic patina that I didnt want to mess with. It does have the normal ugly CJ spots under the Jeep emblem on either side of the body. Those spots arent soft enough to push through nor can you really see it on the inside of the tub, just bubbling the paint.
I have known the owner of this jeep my whole life until I got it 5 years ago. It was previously a hunting jeep but still well taken care of. I got it out of my barn and had to start from scratch getting it back going. I have performed the following work on this:
about 18 months ago, Rebuilt 4.2L bored .030. Head was gone through as well. Comp Cams xtreme cam installed with engine rebuild. Rebuilt T177 swapped in with engine rebuild along with new clutch, pressure plate.
Dana 300 has the JB Fab twin stick kit on it and shifts like butter. Tom Woods front and rear drive shafts with trans swap.
Completely rewired with Painless pre-terminated kit. I made custom engine grounds and battery cables to send ground cables directly to head, alternator, starter, engine block and frame.
Recently I installed a holley sniper efi kit with the in-tank pump and sending unit. It makes the jeep run incredible.
factory YJ soft top with factory YJ half doors and YJ family bar. Spiderweb shade for YJ.
Hummer H1 steering box with HD frame mount. Borgeson HD steering shaft and HD steering linkages. Wolff Sterring column bearing.
has 4 LED cubes, 2 on windshield and 2 on winch fairlead mount.
within 12 months, I swapped in wide track CJ axles with 3.73 gears, Factory Ten one piece rear axles, new brakes, new locking hubs. OX diff covers front and rear.
DUI HEI Distributor
Has a 2.5" superlift superride kit with the M.O.R.E. HD shackles front and rear. 17" Method Con6 wheels with factory JK Rubicon take off tires.
The badlands winch is not included with the sale but the Warn mount will be included.
Also includes a tow bar.
