Vehicle Description
1980 Pontiac TransAm V-8 301-4V Turbo, Van Nuys plant, WS-6 package, T-Top, factory A/C. Numbers matching engine, 94,485 miles. Car is titled and insured but not registered. Pretty good running order but will need typical TLC, great candidate for a restoration!
Needs: Tires, paint, finish interior, A/C work, some body work. Turbo works well, there is a typical oil leak on the oil return line from the Turbo. TH350 transmission has been rebuilt with B&N shift kit and hooks up very nicely. Interior has had work done, I have a new headliner in the box but not installed.
Does have typical roof cracks common in T-tops with out sub-frame connectors. Paint over turbo hood scoop is peeling due to heat from turbo. No serious rust issues, minor rust on the floor pan from past t-top leaks.
