Used 1981 Fiat Spider - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle automotive sale for sale in East Berlin, PA

I just purchased this vehicle a few months ago. A new investment has come up and I decided to put this car up for sale. The previous owner had the Spider garage kept for eight years and purchased it from Arizona with a fresh paint job. Body is in great shape - not a common color. Completely rust free. Car starts right away and idles at about 1,000 RPM. Runs great and is a blast to drive around. Chassis has 150k, engine rebuilt around 100k. New convertible top. 5 speed manual and disc brakes. Car comes with set of 4 original wheels and spare, upper lower grill replacement, typical box of Spider parts, Chilton Guides, fuses, light bulbs and various small replacement parts. Currently, has good tires on 15 inch BWA wheels. I have a current PA title in hand and two sets of keys. Asking $5900 firm. No trades
Alterations/Work Done:
Deleted rear muffler, straight pipe and trumpet tip. It's not too loud. The bumpers disappeared a long time ago. Brake pads and rotors replaced all the way around. Brake balance compensator removed. Heater core removed. (We have the heater parts). Grounds cleaned and happy. Headlight relays installed. Timing belt replaced less than 2,000 miles ago. Rebuilt u-joints and guibo on the driveshaft. New fuel pump. A pre-filter was added to protect the pump. Completely replaced ignition system. Coil, module, distributor, wires, plugs - Many electrical gremlins have been eliminated. New hazard switch, clean grounds, etc.

Things to Watch for:
Transmission can be a little crunchy going into reverse. Takes a flick. Happens on these, shift fork. Has a tap on the exhaust side - May need valve shim adjustment regular maintenance for one of these vehicles. Scratches on passenger rear fender. Hood was lightly crunched. Not visible from 10 feet away. The interior is in good shape for the year. Needs some sprucing up.
