Used 1981 GMC Flatbed and 2000 Car Hauler for sale in Oroville, CA

SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
The Butte County Mosquito and Vector Control District will sell the following item(s) of personal property:
Truck #107, 1981 GMC 12-foot flatbed, 4 speed manual, GVWR- 17,400 lbs. with 45,139 miles – minimum bid $500.00
Equipment #144, 2000 Carson car trailer, 2 axels, 18-foot bed – minimum bid $500.00

The property will be sold to the highest bidder submitting a bid in excess of the minimum bid amount listed above. The property will be sold “as is,” “where is,” without warranty as to condition or of any other kind.

Bids must be in writing and received at the Oroville District office (5117 Larkin Road, Oroville) not later than November 8, 2022, by 4:25 PM. Bids, to be considered, must be accompanied by a check in the amount of 10% of the bid amount, made payable to the District, as security for the completion of the purchase and sale. All bids will remain sealed until the Board Meeting of November 9, 2022. The highest bidder will be notified the morning of November 14, 2022, and will be required to make arrangements with the District to complete the transaction and deliver full cash payment within 24 hours of notification. If the highest bidder fails to complete the transaction by tendering full cash payment of the bid amount within 24 hours of notification, the bid security shall be forfeited to the District. If a transaction with a higher bidder is not completed, the District may sell the property to the next highest bidder until the sale is completed. The bid security shall be returned to bidders who are not designated, once the transaction is completed.
The District reserves the right to reject all bids and withdraw the property from sale.
