California car
This was my Mother's car and it has quite a bit of sentimental value for me but unfortunately I’m just more of a truck guy and it’s sitting in my garage where I’d like a river raft to be. It lived it’s life in California until I shipped it to Boulder this fall. It's always been garaged and still is. This was Mom's 2nd car and she drove it rarely which is why is has so few miles on it. I’m not sure that she ever actually deployed the soft top in the entire time she owned the car, so it is in perfect condition which is a rarity on cars this old. The soft top is also a beautiful brown color. Not black. The paint job is in excellent condition. There are a couple of small dime sized blemishes that can easily be touched up. And there are a few drops of sap of some sort, which every Cali car has. But it does NOT need a paint job. A bit of touch up paint and a buffing and waxing and it will look like new. Apparently the Sun Yellow is the most collectable color. There is a piece or two of seat molding that are missing. One of the front fog lights has a small hole in it. The leather seats have some wear but no tears. The chrome wheels are flaking and need to be re-chromed. But everything is easily fixable or replaceable. This is a collector quality car. She had it maintained and serviced meticulously. It does not need any mechanical work. The tires will need to be replaced soon but not immediately. It has cruise control and air conditioning. It also has an 80's era car phone that is a conversation piece. The pictures don’t show it but I have the removable hard top as well. I can send more detailed pics to any interested people.
