Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a 1982 Datsun 720 Long Bed in great shape.
Powered by the notoriously reliable Z22 engine that is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. There is a 2-speed transfer case offering 4H/4L/2H. Manual locking front hubs keep it simple and reliable. The truck comes with a bed full of spare parts including clutch, carb, and brake parts (mostly new old stock) as well as the original white steel wheels and the original front bumper. Rolled steel for a bed bar is also included but not complete.
The truck was repainted under the previous owner and looks great under inspection. All glass, mechanicals, and interior bits are original as this truck has never been messed with. It was kept stock to celebrate the era of mini-trucks. All mechanicals are perfect on this truck as you’d expect from such a low mileage vehicle and it’s a wonderful truck to drive. I believe that the payload is over a 1/2 ton, can confirm if required.
I have tons of photos and will answer any and all questions about this truck. The price is firm and reasonable, this is an incredibly special truck that needs a new owner to keep it happy and healthy for another 40 years.
Please don’t lowball and expect that I will reduce my price… this truck is rare, beautiful, reliable, and original.
