Vehicle Description
1982 Vanagon Westfalia L project for sale
$4200 OBO
Starts and runs, engine is solid but fuel pump is getting old.
Love this van and have been wanting to restore it, but just wont have the time in the upcoming year, looking for a good owner to pass a classic and fun project onto.
1.9L engine, previous owner told me the engine was recently replaced but do not have the paperwork.
Recently re-did the wiring harness with the harness from Kyle Automotive Specialties
Also replaced fuel lines and fuel rails with kit from GoWesty.
This van is gutted at the moment, but I was able to salvage some of the original parts, such as the front captains chairs, the folding couch/bed, removable table.
I do have the stove unit although it has been damaged in several places.
Also have some LizardSkin sound deadening insulation, the application spray gun, aluminum insulation and the rubber insulation I was going to lay inside the van I can include.
Second immediate need would be to replace the dash cluster with one of the kits they sell online.
This van is a blank canvas at the moment, with a little work though it would make for a solid little trooper. Feel free to ask any questions.
