1983 Cutlass Supreme, 3.8 V6 (231) auto trans, New cat-back exhaust/muffler, new power steering pump, new fuel pump, fairly recent carburetor rebuild, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, brand new tires on Olds 14” rallys (also have original steel wheels with all 4 wire hubcaps) have years of paperwork/documentation showing this is a true southern car (Knoxville, Tennessee) beginning at the original sales receipt. Brought to Michigan June 2015, and garaged every winter since. Only flaw with the car is the drivers rear quarter panel (taillight area) based on the paperwork in the car, there was a very minor left rear impact of another vehicle traveling about 10-15 mph. Cracked the taillight, dented trunklid and created a dent in the panel. Looking at it, it appears that the collision shop chose to use filler instead of just pushing the dent out properly, the also refinished the trunk lid and both those areas are beginning to rust and come apart. Im not a body guy but I would assume it will need a panel welded in and some pieces patched around the trunk sealing area near the taillight. But as far as the condition of the entirety of the underbody, it is immaculate!! Floors have never been undercoated, yet are still the matching color as the paint of the body. Original brake lines, no rust or rot anywhere! Brand new vinyl top and headliner, Rally cluster conversion done (the proper way, connector was not cut from harness, each wire was repositioned into the necessary terminal, one at a time) the car has approximately 90k miles however the odometer in the rally cluster reads around 30k. It could be driven with the current engine as a cruiser (due to either worn rings/valve seal issues it does use some oil) or its a perfect platform for an LS/Big Block build.
