Vehicle Description
This is a 1984, Land Rover Santana, Series 3, with the 88 inch / short wheelbase, with LEFT HAND DRIVE and a removable hard-top.
It is just arrived from salt-free Spain, and has effectively no corrosion or rot anywhere on the frame/body/etc. It is fully titled (Ohio), registered, and perfectly legal to transfer/sell.
This is the last year of this model, and wasn't even registered (when new) until '85. As such, this is very much one of the last-ever built Series III vehicles, and has exceptionally low miles; picture is when purchased, in Spain, a small number of miles have been added since. It has the 4-cyl, non-turbo, 2.25ltr engine, (with the later, 5-main bearing crankshaft!), a 4-speed manual transmission, and 2-speed transfer case.
The paint is in very good condition, but NOT original. It has had some body work done (see pictures), so there are some bondo cracks showing, as well as a patch on the back door. That said, all panels are in excellent condition, and the frame (including outriggers, crossmembers, etc) is pristine save a few bumps where it's been used as a Land Rover should be.
Sorry I don't have any local, outdoor pictures of it: we've been slammed with snow and cold weather these past two weeks, and as this vehicle has never seen salt, I'm not about to abuse it that way!
If interested, let me know, and I can send any photos of anything on the vehicle of interest, exact current mileage, etc.
