Vehicle Description
This Jeep is a California model for smog purposes. The last registration is Washington State expired in 2012.
Buyer will remove from the Jeeps location in Oakley CA as the Jeep has not been registered in CA since about 2005, therefore, may not be driven on California roads. It will need to be removed on a flat bed trailer.
A CA smog check was performed on the Jeep and failed and buyer will sign a form with that understanding and that seller will not register or smog the Jeep.
As you can see in the pictures the Jeep is not in perfect shape, even though it runs, many people would consider it as a project before putting it to use on public roads.
This Jeep also has what's known as "Jeep death wobble". Look that up. You would need to consider the Jeep undrivable until that is fixed. Yea off road seems to be fine but a pothole on a public road cause the stearing wheel to shake violently and requires stopping the car fully in order to stop the shaking.
The rods that shift on transfer case snapped off when drive shaft came loose and hit the rods. 4 wheel drive works fine but need to go under Jeep to adjust the rods.
Fun Jeep. Serious inquiries only. Problaby Jeep enthusiasts, mechanics and 4x4 enthusiasts would be most interested.
Express your interest, let's chat.
