Vehicle Description
This is one of the more original 5.0 Mustangs that you will find of its age. This is a project but is not far from being a driver. Will need tires, a good carburetor and change the fluids and then work on it while driving. Does currently yard drive but will need to be trailered.
Car was sold new in Texas and then went to Virginia later before coming to Ga. Has been repainted at one time and they had started sanding on it to paint it again. Rust free body and extremely straight.
Had been sitting for prob 7-8 years when I got it. New parts include complete new fuel tank, sending unit, filler neck, tank evap valve and all new tank rubber parts, new solenoid, new fuel pump on block, new stand alone harness for the Duraspark, new distributor, new Duraspark box, new coil, new battery, new ignition switch on the column and the carb was gone through but its junk.
I also had to repair parts of the engine harness [common] and have not taped the harnesses back up after cutting the covering loose. Everything looks to be present under the hood and original except the air cleaner lid is wrong. This car still has the large factory converter under it but did get Flowmasters at some point.
Engine sounds good and has good oil pressure. Clutch works but seems to release all the way at the top.
Interior seats and carpet are nce as are the door panels but the dash pad is cracked like they all do. Headliner needs redone as well. Still has the factory cassette player in it.
Came from the factory with no rear spoiler.
Would make a very nice car with a little time and effort without breaking the bank. Sold bill of sale only along with a copy of the clean carfax.
Price is 5500.00 and I'm fairly firm.
