Used 1985 gmc suburban for sale in Fort Collins, CO

1800 obo. Used to have a diesel, but the guy I bought it from put a rebuilt 454 in it. It has less than 2000 miles on the rebuild and motor runs excellent. Needs a torque inverter, currently only drives in reverse. The interior is in decent shape, exhaust won’t currently pass emissions in larimer county. Definitely not currently daily driver ready but if you’re mechanically inclined, this thing is fun as hell and the motor is a beast. I figure the motor alone running as well as it does must be worth around the asking price, and they say these things get like 600 at the scrap yard, so either buy it for the motor or get it up and running. The guy I bought it from had 37” tires on it and painted it camo. I used it as a daily driver until the torque inverter went out, and have always planned to get it going but now I have a baby on the way and need to buy a new work truck so need to make room in the driveway. I really love this thing but I’m finally realizing it’s just going to sit there for a few years, so I’ll just find a new toy when the time comes...
