Vehicle Description
I don't have enough parking for all of my vehicles - so my Grand Wagoneer has to go.
This is an all-original truck with 130k miles that was with its first owner for 36 years (until about year ago). It has spent its entire life in Southern California. A true surf classic with a clean title. Mechanical restoration is complete. Cosmetic restoration is up to you.
The original owner rebuilt the engine in the early 2000s; the drivetrain has been well maintained, and it shows. It's my daily driver - I routinely take it up into the canyons or up the coast. It runs cool and doesn't leak oil.
All this work was done in the last 6 months/1,000 miles by a well-known truck shop here in LA. Glad to show receipts:
- New Bilstein shocks and bushings
- New brakes
- New full exhaust
- New tires
- Carburetor rebuilt
- New battery
- New starter motor
- New front sway bar links
- Power steering maintenance
- New hood release
The frame is straight and rust-free; no corrosion or rot. There are small rust spots on a few of the body panels, pictured.
All of this should be clear from the photos, but some things it could use:
- New door cards / interior door pulls
- New power mirror switch
- Headliner replacement
- Upholstery
- Cabling on the rear hatch and interior door pulls (they work, but not as smooth as they could be)
It's a wonderful truck and I hope it finds a good home. Restore it - or don't!
Come take a look - $16.5K OBO.
