Vehicle Description
You’re not buying a van, you’re buying a memory-making machine! (and family heirloom, her name is Gertrude)
Starts, runs, and drives great. Short version: she is mechanically sound but needs some cosmetic love. I’m a decent mechanic and have a fair amount of work on her over the years.
The good:
- Rebuilt 2.1 L motor w/ less than 20k miles on it
- Rebuilt Digi-jet computer
- New alternator (Bosch)
- New water pump
- New spark plugs
- New spark plug wires (Bosch)
- New fuel lines on engine side of firewall
- New fuel pump and filter
- New heater blower motor and fan, front
- New propane bottle and regulator
- New skylight
- Rebuilt power steering pump/system
- Rebuilt rack and pinion
- Upholstery is good shape
- Rear heater delete
- Canvas was been replaced in 2012 and is in great shape
- Comes with several accessories:
- Rain Fly from GoWesty
- Griddle from GoWesty
- Square tube steel cross bars, great for loading kayaks, bicycles, or other bulky gear
- Thule Rocket Box
- Kayak Stackers
The bad:
- Transmission fluid leak, slow and manageable, but you’ll probably want to fix
- Front window seals need to be replaced. I already have the replacement seals. They are fine but a little noisy/breezy
- Lock mechanism on sliding door needs to be replaced, and I have an extra one in my spare parts bin
- Needs a paint job and has some body rust
- Needs new tires and probably and alignment
- Dash is cracking
187,000 miles on the odometer
Price = $12,000 USD
