HISTORY:
This car has spent its entire life in the Liberty Indiana area. The original owners had it ordered from the factory with all the body panels Ziebart treated, which has left them in great condition. They primarily drove it to work locally and kept the miles low. I still have their names and address. My stepfather bought it from them in the early 2000's. It was smoking so he eventually had the engine pulled and rebuilt around 2005. A couple years ago I acquired it. The original paint was trashed (burgundy, with orange stripe kit) but the body was straight, so a friend and I broke it down and gave it it's current color. It's been fully gone through door jams and all. However due to new jobs we had to park the project and never finished it. We stopped short of the final buffing. All the parts are there, Including new gaskets and weatherstripping. While we had it stored a sign fell against the passenger side and rubbed a large area (As Pictured). In my opinion It needs repainted again and finished out correctly but neither of us have the time. All the trim and interior panels are inside. The interior seats are in good shape structurally but all the velvet is sun bleached. The dash has a few cracks. The windshield has had a crack since the 90's.
The car runs. Before we broke it down I drove it frequently to work, and since then I've started it often moving it around my old garage. While it's been sitting more the brakes have gotten softer. Probably would be good to flush all the fluids and run some fresh gas through it. I just installed new period correct BF Goodrich Radial 215/65 R15's from Coker Tire of Chattanooga. I had to use it's battery in my truck, so I can show it or get it onto your trailer with that battery, otherwise you'll need to bring a side post to drive it home.
