Vehicle Description
Rare tin-top Sami! This micro-SUV turns heads wherever she goes. Some think she's a mini-Mercedes G series.
Check out the photos, I didn't give it the usual Craigslist hose-treatment. I'll add more pics shortly.
Bought it a couple years ago for my wife, who was interested in hitting some trails with me, but she's happier in my rig—so she used it to deliver flowers.
Lots of new stuff has gone in since:
plugs
wires
cap and rotor
all filters & fluids
upper rad hose
new clutch kit
all new gaskets and grease for 2-wheel and 4-wheel stick and drive linkage
after-market headlights
muffler and section of exhaust pipe
front brakes
Monroe shocks
tires
new factory molded cabin carpet
seat covers
some new paint
winch cleaned, lubricated and tested—works great!
Will come with tow bar and all additional parts and maintenance items (belts, plugs, extra clutch, etc.)
(Previous California owner towed it behind his motorhome). Odometer reads 624 (but is title exempt).
Full disclosure: it's in typical shape for these models actually driven...
cloth seats are a little rough, but not uncomfortable
passenger door handle sticks sometimes
no back bench seat (for delivery purposes)
hood latch just broke
Engine bay could definitely use a cleaning up and rerouting to look tidier.
It's got all California emission equipment on it still...never got around to taking it off.
I think the cat should be cut off or replaced
could use a new carb, and motor gaskets...the usual for a wheeling project rebuild.
3700 or best offer...trade possible—only if you've got a (pre-80's) trailer in solid condition. Let me know what day/times you can meet around here and we'll work it out. Title in hand.
If the ad's up it's available. I don't need help selling it. I'll be working through my list of strangers who've asked me to call them if I ever decide to sell. No low-ballers—I'm just as good with block & covering it. FYI: plans to continue restoration in Spring—but price will go up.
