Vehicle Description
1987 Buick Grand National. This is the real thing, not a clone. Have owned and garaged the car in Washington State, since January 2012. Prior to that, the car lived in Utah.
The car has 120k miles. It is in fair to good condition and mostly original. Some points to consider for restoration: the clear coat has peeled in places and I believe a new paint job may be in order. The rear bench seat is in very good condition, with one small (pencil end eraser) size hole. The passenger seat is in good condition, the driver's seat cover needs replacement. The power windows are slow to go up and down, but do function. Some interior touches would be needed to bring it fully to good condition.
The car has a new battery and starts with ease. Idles well and has plenty of expected Turbo charged scoot out on the road. The car has been driven a limited amount during the past 5 years. No mechanical issues I am aware of.
I'm selling the car because it belonged to my husband who has passed. I don't have the knowledge about the car or interest in it that it deserves. It's a great motorhead muscle car and I'd like to see it go to a good new home where it can be tinkered with and appreciated.
Please feel free to email or text with questions. show contact info . Can gladly make the car available to see by appointment.
