In 1987 there were two super cool things, Patrick Swayze and the Ford Mustang GT. Both were in the prime of their life. Dirty Dancing was one of the best movies, and you could be the hippest kid on the block if you drove this Mustang GT with your going steady to the drive in. I really do miss drive ins. We had one here till a few years ago. Picture cruising down the main drag, windows down and “(I've Had) The Time Of My Life” blaring! Yes my friends, this could be you! You can relive all the glory of yester year! Now over all this car is in great shape. The paint is not perfect, but for a 32 year old daily driver, it's pretty good. The interior is in great shape. The 5.0L V-8 puts out 225 HP and still feels very responsive. This does have the AOD 4 Speed automatic, and this is a rock solid and time tested transmission. The music it makes as it builds up the RPM's is a glorious cacophony of pure all American Muscle Car coming out of the tail pipe. By today standards it's not a super fast car, but a very fun to drive car. These Fox Body Mustangs are only shooting up in price as the years go by. The 5.0 is one of the least expensive engines to modify to put out some real power figures. So come snatch up this time piece before she is gone.
