Vehicle Description
1987 GMC Vandura 2500 Starcraft for sale. Great condition! Partially converted for #VanLife
PRICE REDUCED TO $7500 obo.
Very spacious! Has queen sized bed with garage storage underneath, shelving for additional storage and a small table. Unfinished vinyl floor is partially insulated. There are windows galore (including a skylight and pop-open back windows) with original curtains. Has ladder and tire rack on rear. Has plush captains chairs and the front passenger seat rotates / reclines, which makes for extra sleeping space (see picture).
The van is in solid running condition. It starts and runs well, has heat and a/c, has been well maintained. It was used as a daily driver, lived in and made many long strange trips. These engines were built to last, should keep on trucking for many miles to come! Recently had idler pulley and belt replaced. Tires have decent tread.
Has slight leak from water pump. I purchased a brand new NAPA water pump and fuel filter, which will both be included in the purchase. This is a fairly simple repair but it is still operable without having this done.
The two front electric windows are on their last legs, slow going up / down but are still functional for all intensive purposes.
I was planning on building this out further as it is an excellent van and was a good travel companion, but I have been blessed with an opportunity and am moving, so I no longer need this van. I'd like to pass it along to someone who will give it a home for it can be a good home to them.
Now asking $7500 OBO, yet I will not entertain any low ball offers for I know what this van is worth. Only cash accepted. Serious buyers only. I don't have the time to show to tire kickers. Will remove this post when sold!
